ABOUT L. Smith—
 

L. Smith is a beauty culturist, with experience styling all shades, textures and lengths. His background in foundation/enhancement technique, conceptual style, and formal hair design apprise his intentional zeal for signature style. Leonard is fueled by his passion for building the lives of others through the natural aesthetic of beauty; understanding that style and mental well-being are both influential to hair health and feeling good about one’s self. He considers himself a ‘Minister of Hair’ eager to build on his calling to touch not just the hair, but the soul as well.

His ambition for skill and determination to turn his dreams into action has contributed to his most recent contributions and accomplishments, where he acquainted in both Hair and Beauty for heavy hitting brands such as the ‘I Support Black Women’ Campaign by OFF-WHITE, Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show 2020, BET, Fox 5 News Baltimore, Chicago Brothers United, Krave Magazine and Miss Virginia.  Leonard has vastly enhanced the experience of wedding day hair- he has been featured by Iris Manning’s Weddings DC (@irismannings), and Sam Hurd Wedding Photography (@iamthesam). 

Leonard believes looking your best means feeling your best- a tenet he lives out through his interests in creative styling & consulting, men’s make-up, and fitness running.
